Aerial Yoga Adventures!

AerialyogaAerial Yoga is definitely one of the more adventurous exercise classes I’ve ever experienced. My co-worker and I did it at Om Factory NYC as a team building event and it’s safe to say it is something we won’t soon forget! It’s a really cool class that made me feel like some type of clumsy and unbalanced aerobatic gymnast. Regardless, I totally recommend trying it- especially if your fitness routine is getting boring. It stretches out a lot of tight places that are usually tough to stretch out and there’s a pretty awesome sense of accomplishment after doing a class like that. At least I felt like a BOSSSSSS. Kinda ill, but still very boss. AerialyogaNow, being that this class is pretty unique, I had a lot of thoughts while doing it. Here’s some of the thoughts I had- aside from whether I was doing anything correctly- while swinging around, getting slightly nauseous, in my soft hammock:

How did anyone ever come up with this concept?

Haha I’m up in the airrrrr y’all

Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.

This is not comfortable.

Flipping time!

Owwwww. I think I twisted my arm off. But I think I played it off fine…

What did she [the instructor] just do?!?

Nope. Not doing that.

Oh sh*t I did it!!!

I’m upside down b*tches!

Anyone else feel sick?

I’m about to pass out. I may puke. Room spinning.

Keep it together Chelsea!

OoOooo, this is a good stretch.

… is anyone ready to get out of this position now?

Ah this one’s chilllll… class must be over soon…

I feel safe in a cocoon…

Are these hammocks clean?

No, wait. I feel claustrophobic…

NAMASTE PEOPLE NA-MAS-TEEEEEEEE

I’m going to be sore tomorrow.

My tummy does not feel good… really glad I didn’t have like a burrito for lunch!

Thanks! You could deffff do it- you just need a friend to make you go. And the instructor can take care of the rest!
