Memorial Day weekend is coming up! Whether you’re looking to dine and drink al fresco, in the mood for tacos, or are vegetarian, this round up has your weekend plans covered.

Atwood Kitchen + Bar
For classic American fare and local craft beers and hand-crafted cocktails, head to Atwood Kitchen + Bar in Midtown. Stay pumped for America this summer with specials that begin on Memorial Day and continue throughout 4th of July. Specials include a boneless bbq pork spare rib with xo bourbon bbq, which comes with house baked beans, cooked in Atwood’s pork jus, peppers, onions, and scallions, served with chile corn bread waffles; and the freedom waffle sandwich, the most spirited way to start any day! This all American creation is a red, white, and blue bacon, egg, and cheese waffle sandwich.

In the mood for more of a party setting this Memorial Day weekend? Then Añejo in the Tribeca area is your best bet. With large tables, outdoor seating where you can lay back and soak up the sun, a Mexican inspired menu, and plenty of tequilas, mezcals, and Mexican distillations, you better be ready to get your fiesta on.

The Daisy
This Upper East Side agave-themed gastropub will be offering a bottomless brunch on Memorial Day from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Enjoy all the bottomless margaritas, mimosas, bloody Marys, and red and white wine you can drink.

Michelin-starred NYC restaurant Dovetail will be open the holiday weekend offering top-notch, upscale vegetarian cuisine. On Monday, Dovetail will feature its special vegetarian and vegetable focused four-course prix fixe for $58. Menu items include Dovetail favorites like baby beets with cured salmon and rose water cream, and butter poached king trumpet mushrooms with polenta, spinach, and green strawberries and more.

Find yourself in the West Village? Then check out Dante for a relaxing, casual Italian meal. With outdoor seating and plenty of of dishes and cocktails to choose from, dining here this holiday weekend will be a nice break from the stresses of the city. Drinks like Apertivo #1 with milagro blanco, aperol, lillet blanc, passionfruit, mango, and prosecco, will keep you going all day (and night) long.

While ‘merica does love it’s BBQ and steaks, vegetarian eateries should not be overlooked. NIX, a recently opened seasonal vegetarian restaurant near Union Square, prides itself on inventive vegetarian fare. With items like Yukon potato fry bread, cauliflower tempura with steamed buns, and shiitake “cacio e pepe,” Chef John Fraser’s cooking won’t have you missing meat at all. Open for dinner on Memorial day.

Agave Restaurant & Tequila Bar
Named “Best Margarita” by The Food Network, this festive spot is offering a bottomless brunch this Memorial Day. Choose any egg item with a two-hour bottomless with your choice of mimosa, wine, or frozen margarita.

Bonnie Vee
This Lower East Side gem has a delightfully charming back garden waiting to be enjoyed by the Memorial Day weekend crowd. With craft cocktails and icy slushies, such as the Jessica Rabbit with thai chili-infused Sentera tequila, strawberry, and lime, and the Kid Frost with vida mezcal, lime, coco lopez, and ‘elemakule tiki, Bonnie Vee has enough refreshing libations, bar bites, and sharable plates to last you and your friends from the time you arrive ’till night.

SushiSamba has a beautiful open air rooftop adorn with greenery, chic chandeliers, glowing lanterns, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows. It’s literally an oasis in the bustling West Village neighborhood. With an upscale, innovative bar serving signature, culinary, and a new virgin cocktails from award-winning bartender Richard Woods, you’ll want to spend all weekend sipping drinks, people-watching, chilling and soaking up the holiday weekend bliss.
